It is said the fabled 10 Commandments of the Old Testament were written
on a pair of stone tablets by God at around 1490 BCE. Whoever dished
them out, however, may have consulted the Egyptian Book of the Dead.
This is a book that contains the ancient Egyptian funerary text that was
practiced around 1550 BCE. Believe it or not, Chapter 125 contains all
the 10 Commandments.
